On trial | MUA Matte eyeshadow palette

I recently introduced you to MUA Makeup Academy Professionals in my Weekly Round-up video. A bargain-brand that finally made it's way into my make-up collection.
MUA is the one makeup range which I can honestly admit I haven't used before. However, I saw these eye shadows and was amazed at the price. £4 each, can you believe that?

So, what I have decided to do is review these products for you, I want to see if the price effects the quality of the eye shadows.

 Ever After - Matte Palette

Taffeta
Fade
Penny
Chino
Truffle
Fog
Smoke

The 'Ever After' palette is a great collection of matte colours, the overall look is great but I wouldn't choose this palette over some one the more expensive drug store brands such as Bourjois and Body shop some of the colours look similar on and they don't last more than 4/5 hours. The packaging is simple but it's a good size palette, the quality of the eye shadows are okay, you do get quite a lot of excess powder after using a brush or the sponge applicator.

My favourite colours out of this palette were Fade, Truffle and Smoke.

 Undress Me Too eyeshadow palette
Colours from left to right |
Naked
Devotion
Shy
Fiery
Lavish
Dreamy
Tranquil
Exposed
Reveal
Wink
Obsessed
Corrupt
The 'Undress me Too' is a cute palette. Overall the colours are glitzy, however I found the more glitter eye shadows quite itchy on the eye which I feel is a more personal effect. I found that majority of the more natural colours look the same. My favourite eye shadows out of the palette were Lavish, Obsessed and Corrupt. These particular colours suited my skin tone and really looked great on.

If your budget is quite small and you want affordable, decent eye shadows for everyday use then try MUA.  They are better than anticipated but the price does represent the quality.
