Interiors | Bedroom Snippet 2014

I know my interiors posts have been popular and it makes me feel so wonderful knowing that I have inspired some of you or even made some of you think about your own interior style. I thought that I would show you the interiors of my bedroom, I don't feel comfortable creating a video based around this. However, I want to show you what design me and Gary have chosen.

We love white, we like the clean appeal that white provides and it's also extremely relaxing and calm. This is important for us, as we feel you need a space to de-stress after a hard day at work and sleep soundly.

Gary enjoys reupholstering furniture, he takes pride in his work and I must say he is brilliant at it.The chest of draws in our bedroom was originally a light wood colour, with chunky wooden knobs. We decided instead of purchasing a new chest of draws in white, we would just paint it. We changed the original knobs and replaced the with crystal ones which look classy and perfect for the overall style.

The clock is a personal favourite because it was a present from Gary to myself, its beautiful with a shabby chic style. Heart candles are a present from my younger brother Ryan (Draw your sibling challenge) they are from next.

The large mirror was a bargain buy from The Range, is was £49 which for a heavy, good quality mirror and its situated above our bed.

Now, onto the fabulous chair, it is another one of Gary's clever jobs. The original colour was gold and green. It was purchased from an antiques store for £15. The colours were disgusting but Gary thought it would be a great opportunity to work his magic again. Here it is, the paint cost £11 and the fabric was £1.99.

That's our bedroom! I hope you enjoyed it.
