The life of a foodie


Starting from tomorrow, I will be keeping a food diary on Sprucenews! This will consist of daily posts where I will share with you all my daily meals and drinks. I have always loved my food, I am a foodie and very open about it. However, those around me also know that I am very conscious of my weight. Now, you may all think she is a size 8 why is she bothering! 

Honestly, I expect many angry, negative and selfish comments. So let me clarify what I am doing. First of all, you do not have to be over-weight to be unhealthy. I make wrong decisions when it comes down to food and I eat the wrong thing. I love chocolate, I love lemonade and if you offer my a pastry I am not going to say no. 

I may not look over-weight on the outside, but I feel disgusting on the inside. This is what I want to change. I want to change how I feel about myself, and I want to do it by changing the way I eat. 
I want to feel every bit as beautiful as I should feel, as everyone should feel. I want to appreciate my body now, while I am young and able to do all the things I have dreamed of doing! I do not think I am fat, I am not hysterical and constantly looking in the mirror and crying saying and I quote white chicks here *look at my predonkey...


But I am conscious that the older I get, I will start to see changes in my body that I haven't been expecting. So there isn't a better time to get started really. I would love to hear what you all do to keep in shape and healthy. 

The main things I want to cut down is fizzy beverages and chocolate/sweets. 
I want to eat more salads, vegetables and fish. I want to cut down on the carbs and what carbs I choose to eat will be paired with veg or salad. I also want to save money in the process, which is why I will be putting aside the money that I usually spend on food at lunch time and all those snacks I can't help but purchase. At the end of the year I will open the tub and let you all know what I have saved by making my own food and leading a healthier life.
