Lipstick that loves you back

A few weeks ago I was invited to Burt's Bees launch party for their new lipstick collection - I say new collection, but these have been available in the US for some time now, but they have only recently launched in the UK. Situated in a swanky part on London, I made my way there with my vlogging camera in hand ready to snapshot the day. Little did I know that I was going to get more involved with the ongoing activities than I ever expected to. Which was a great surprise and needless to say I loved it. It was so invigorating mixing with people with the same love for beauty. Everyone who I crossed paths with on that day had their own stories, their likes and dislikes. But the best thing of all is that we were all their for one reason - Beauty! Best of all - lipstick.

I love Burt's Bees. They were one of the first brands I ever received any free goodies from and as a beauty blogger starting out, that small kindness is a HUGE deal. They were also the one brand that sold a lifestyle choice rather than just a product. Being a natural beauty and skin care brand meant their market was so niche yet so wonderfully good. I honestly adore them.

When I heard they were launching a lipstick range I was beyond excited! I couldn't wait to try them out to see what they were like and I wasn't disappointed. They have reinvented the wheel with their combination of moisture and pigmentation. They are nourishing and keep your lips super soft. Due to the ingredients used to make them - Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, Mimosa Flower Wax and Community Sourced Beeswax.

I have tried every single shade and I have my personal favourites which you can find out in my video above. They are incredibly hydrating and I find that the lipsticks last around 6 hours on me. One great thing about them is that they are so easy to reapply and they don't make your lips dry whatsoever. They have that perfect glossy finish that makes your makeup look incredible.

  1. I really need to give these a try. I'm kind of tired of liquid lipsticks that leave my lips super dry
