Sand & Sky Pink Clay Mask

There has been SO much hype around this product that I just had to get my hands on it. The thought of a face mask that could rejuvenate my skin leaving me with that to die for glow was necessary! So I began quickly scrolling through their Insta feed – as you do - to see what this cult brand was all about and what results other people were seeing.

According to the Sand & Sky website, this pink clay mask would not only purify my skin but also help tighten my pores. After reading this, I decided to go ahead and buy it. I was a little surprised at the price tag - £39 for 60ml was a lot of money.  There was a silver lining however. Due to the cost, I got next day delivery so didn’t have to wait long to start using it.

I decided the best day would be a Sunday – everyone loves to Netflix and chill on a Sunday (am I right?) plus I usually have a pamper day on a Sunday to get myself ready for the busy workweek ahead.

The Ordinary Light Coverage Foundation

I have heard so many great things about The Ordinary brand and when I saw that Beauty Bay was selling their foundations, I just had to test them out.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

ONE WEEK LATER:
I've used this foundation every day for the last week. As always, I combined it with a variety of different products from concealers to skin finishing powders. I found that the formula was build-able and works very well with my combination skin.

The shades perfect and I feel it compliments my skin. This lasted around 8 hours on my skin before I noticed any changes to my makeup. It's perfect for those days you just want light coverage to give your skin a little more glow.

Overall, I'm so happy with this product. You're getting a high quality product at a low price. I have to say I think it's my new favourite foundation. It gives me that natural no makeup makeup look that I rock everyday to work. It evens out my skin tone without leaving me looking oily or shiny.  I would 100% recommend this product!

Room 718 - Athens

I've been back from Athens now for over two weeks. I wanted to try and get this up on here as soon as possible because my trip was awesome and I really wanted to share it. I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked Athens. It's always been somewhere I wanted to travel to but I booked it on a whim to do some travelling with my younger brother Ryan. There are so many incredible things to see in Athens and I thought I would share my experiences with you.

Tuesday 19th September 2017 - 06:00am: Travelling to Athens

We set off from my house around 6am. I live approximately 30 mins away from London Heathrow. Ryan (my younger brother) lives in Birmingham so he travelled to mine the night before. We set off later than we normally would as I didn't want to hang around the airport for too long and neither did Ry.
Traffic on the motorway was perfectly fine. We got there in plenty of time and went through check in a lot quicker than I thought we would. We practically breezed through.

We boarded on time and reached Athens 10 minutes early.

Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation

I am by no means a drugstore queen. As you already know, my spending habits when it comes to beauty really varies. I'm not 100% in love with any single brand and as a beauty YouTuber and Blogger I tend to try new things quite often.

Today's beauty delight is the Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation. Have you tried it?

I recently purchased this foundation which I have been testing out for a few weeks now. I find that with a foundation, you can't just use it once and have a good opinion of it. You need a few weeks to trial it because if you're anything like me, my skin changes week to week.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
I like a more natural look. So any foundation that helps me to achieve this is perfect in my opinion. I was slightly apprehensive about this foundation as it's a Matte foundation which can cause some slight issues with my combination skin as some areas of my face get dry quite quickly. However, when I first used this I immediately loved the look. It feels great on and you don't need a lot of product for it to give you that flawless finish.

It didn't effect my skin in any way - no spots and no dryness. I found that 220 is the perfect shade for me. I purchased this online so I wasn't 100% sure I had selected the right shade. It's a guessing game when trying to select the right tone.

Price was great. I got this in the sale so it only cost me £5.59.

FOUR WEEKS ON:
I used this foundation every day for the last four weeks. I combined it with a variety of different products - including the fit me concealer which is one of my favourites. I found that due to the matte formula, it helped to balance my skin. I get quite oily in my T-Zone so found that this formula really works well on me. It's easy to apply - I prefer to use a brush rather than a beauty blender as it's quite a thick foundation and the beauty blender doesn't work so well when trying to get an even look.

You don't need much to get a great finish. I think this may be different depending on your skin tone and whether you suffer from Acne. This lasted over 10 hours on my skin and still looked flawless until I removed it. I wouldn't recommend setting this with a spray. I would suggest using a powder.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this product. It's one of the best high-street foundations I've ever used. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone with dry skin. I don't think it would work well and could potentially break you out.
