Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette

Known to the beauty community as the ultimate wedding palette. I have been waiting to try this since it leaked online a few months ago. As soon as it launched on the UK website, I ordered it. It took around four days to arrive. Which is standard shipping.

The packaging is the same as Modern Renaissance and Subculture. Sleek, well contained with a velvet feel casing. One thing I have to say is that I really dislike the colour of Soft Glam. I know it's meant to be a light gold but to me it just looks beige. Beige is beyond dull and not really a colour I would have personally selected. However, that's just a vanity thing, a personal opinion and reflects nothing on the palette itself.

First Impressions
Okay, just stare at the picture for a few moments... WOW right! I am seriously loving this palette. The colour combination is perfect. I am a warm tone girl. I love warm tone shades that not only compliment my skin, but can also be worn every day. I like the versatility of the palette and it's very easy to go from day to night with this one just by adding a metallic finish.

Shade Descriptions -
Tempera: Ultra-matte velvety beige
Glistening: Iridescent gold with a hint of pink reflect
Orange Soda: Ultra-matte pastel peach
Rose Pink: Rose gold with a soft pink iridescent hue
Sultry: A hybrid satin metallic finish warm chocolate brown
Bronze: Metallic gold bronze
Mulberry: Ultra-matte mulberry
Dusty Rose: Ultra-matte dusty lilac
Fairy: Multi-dimensional light gold
Burnt Orange: Ultra-matte deep orange
Sienna: Ultra-matte earthy brown
Rustic: Ultra-matte deep cinnamon brown
Cyprus Umber: Ultra-matte dark coffee
Noir: Ultra-matte deep carbon black

I found that there is quite a lot of fall out when using the shades. They are super soft so it's to be expected. This didn't bother me to be honest. However, I would recommend doing your eye makeup before you apply foundation.

The shades are so pigmented and a little goes a long way. I would advise lightly dabbing your brush rather than swirling which I know many people do. It will only make your brush pick up far too much product meaning you either can't blend very well or waste the products - let's face it, why would you want to do that!
